Our judge was Russ Burden, a past member of Focus Camera Club and a renowned professional photographer.
Russ Burden is the owner of Russ Burden Photo Safaris. Now retired, he used to run wildlife safaris to Tanzania three times a year. He still runs trips but they are reserved for seasoned travelers/photographers and he acts as just a trip organizer. Russ’s safari images are internationally published and his commercial work is sold through Getty Images.
Russ has an incredible passion for photography and seeks to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with fellow photographers. His drive to seek optimal light and composition motivates him to create the perfect image.
