A recording of our October 2024 Competition held via Zoom. The subject was “Shallow DOF” for this competition.
Our judge was Jamie Konarski Davidson, an award-winning, freelance nature photographer, workshop leader, presenter and Lensbaby Ambassador. Photography and flowers are her soul feeders, allowing her to capture and share beauty in nature and ordinary places.
She connects with all things “old” and finds a special beauty in decay and fading cultural lifestyles that resonate with a life of hard work. Jamie’s interpretive style reflects an intentional approach. Her work ranges from florals and still life, macro & close-up to landscapes (intimate & grand), abstracts in color, wabi sabi and infrared.
