The recording of the presentation from Kyle Durlam titled “Printing zines, booklets, magazines, etc — easily and cheaply!” given to the Focus Camera Club on June 11, 2025.
Program Description
Kyle has recently taken a class on the process of creating and printing ezines, booklets, and magazines. He wants to share with the club how easy it is and hopefully encourage others to create their own works. “Since taking Matt’s class I’ve had four booklets printed.”
Kyle will walk us through ideation, collecting the right photos, layout – starting literally with a blank slate – and file upload just to highlight how simple the process is. (he uses Affinity Publisher and Mixam.com, but many other layout apps and print services are available)
