We are fortunate to have an experienced photographer willing to do an hour long image critique for us. This will be a members only Zoom session (Doug lives in Montana…) on Sept. 20 at 6:30 PM, our standard meeting time. Doug will spend a few minutes per image giving his thoughts about the image and showing some basic edits in Lightroom while talking to the image maker about their image.

To participate in this special session, you will prepare and submit images exactly like you do for a monthly competition (same px dimensions, color space, filename, etc.). The only difference is you will choose “Critique Only” under competition level on the web form. That will signify your desire to have images critiqued by Doug. (Deadline for image submissions will be Sunday the 17th at midnight)

Similar to a competition, we are limiting entries to 2 images per person. We encourage members to take advantage of this rare opportunity to get feedback from a pro on your work. Whether it’s an image you’re considering for a future competition or a new genre or technique you’re trying out, Doug will give you clear and useful advice on your images.
