Focus Competition Meeting – Subject is Nature

About our Judge
Becky Witt began her photographic career photographing birds but has expanded to all areas of nature and beyond and now includes hand of man and non-nature subject. When she began shooting she just tried to get sharp and properly exposed shots, but now creates images that engage the viewer—evoking an emotion or feeling of wonder.

She’s a past member of the executive board of Camera Naturalists, currently serves on the board for Somerset County Photo Club, conducts photography workshops for NJ Audubon, and acts as a judge for photography clubs all around New Jersey.

Until further notice, members can submit an “Open” category image if they don’t have a suitable image that fits the assigned subject. We don’t want members risking their health or breaking any StayAtHome restrictions to go shoot new images. We encourage people to follow the 2021 monthly subjects, but also realize some people won’t have suitable images in their archives.
Also, for Competition meetings via Zoom you can only submit 2 images for Competition.
