A recording of our August 2024 Competition held both in-person and via Zoom. The subject was “High Noon” for this competition.
Our judge was Travis Broxton, a former Focus Club Member and an accomplished photographer.
After spending 30 successful years in the corporate world, in 2002 his “hobby” turned into his occupation, leaving his lucrative corporate career to photograph full time. Travis has traveled extensively, photographing for the Enlighten Foundation, he has documented the lives of people in remote villages in Armenia, Romania, and the Negev in Israel.
He has also photographed well over 500 weddings, including luxury weddings in castles in Europe, on private islands in the Caribbean, and everywhere in between. He now spends his time teaching and mentoring other photographers, photographing for several non-profit organizations, and still photographs about half a dozen weddings a year.
