A recording of our April 2025 Competition held both in-person and via Zoom. The subject was “Open” for this competition.
Our judge was Cliff Lawson, a member of Focus Camera Club for almost 22 years, having joined in June of 2003. He has been involved in photography since college and began doing professional work in 2004. He holds two advanced degrees from the Professional Photographers of America: Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman as well as the Certified Professional Photographer designation.
He has attended the PPA judge’s school and evaluates images along the guidelines of the 12 Elements of a Merit Image, something which the members of Focus are familiar.
This video has images from all the competition groups and they are presented in random order.
After a brief intro, the competition judging starts.
