Congratulations to Joy Lindholm for theirachievement this year, a rare joint win with another club member. The excellent images they submitted in our monthly competitions, and the high scores they achieved, has resulted in this club honor. We can’t wait to see what you do next year!
Joy Lindholm
Joy’s interest in photography started at a young age and was encouraged by family members who shared the same passion. They particularly enjoyed darkroom classes in high school, developing their own film and learning to print in creative ways. These days, they mostly shoot digital, though their enthusiasm for printing images remains strong.
Their lifelong love of travel has been a constant source of inspiration. Having explored nearly 30 countries across four continents, Joy’s photography reflects the beauty of distant lands and the warmth of vibrant cultures. Yet they are just as enchanted by the familiar, often finding unexpected wonders in their own backyard.
Joy specializes in nature, macro, and travel photography, though they enjoy dabbling in other genres whenever curiosity strikes. Joy is grateful for the guidance and camaraderie they have found through the Focus Camera Club, where they continue to hone their craft. Whether capturing dewdrops on ripe tomatoes or the cliff sides of faraway shores, Joy approaches photography with a sense of wonder they plan to carry with them for many years to come.
