NOTICE!! We will be using Zoom for online meetings until further notice. We have tested the technology and it works well for our Program and Competition meetings.
The Lone Tree Civic Center, our usual meeting place, is closed indefinitely.
Intro to Focus
For over 30 years Focus Camera Club has helped photographers in the Denver metro area hone their craft. Our monthly Programs feature local and national photographers who share their knowledge and expertise. And our monthly photo Competitions challenge you to take those new skills and shoot a wide variety of subjects throughout the year.
Our members range from beginners to published authors and working pros. But we all share one thing. A passion for photography and creating impactful and memorable images.
We invite you to join us for a meeting or two, no obligation. Our doors are always open for new members or anyone wanting to give us a “test drive”.
Check out our Meeting Schedule for a date and time that works for you.
Not a Member?
Focus Camera Club is one of the most diverse photo clubs in the Denver area. We have members of all ages and experience levels. Heck, there are even a few who shoot primarily with Point & Shoot cameras. (And they produce excellent work too!) Please poke around the site and see some of the work done by our members. We know you’ll like what you see.
Our regular monthly meetings for 2021 are on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.
All meetings are done via Zoom until it’s safe to meet in person again. More info is on the Meetings page. Come join us for a Program or Competition meeting.
Artificial light is used because you can control it better. Technically, it is more homogeneous, more delicate, and less damaging to artwork. But I think it’s interesting when the visitor can see variations in the light, when it is not only technical or suitable.
